That's a Wrap! National Scleroderma Foundation Twin Cities Charity Walk 2025

Despite the record-setting heat, turnout was strong for the National Scleroderma Foundation's "Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma" charity walk on June 21, 2025, in St. Louis Park, Minnesota (that's "Minneapolis" for anyone outside of the state). The Writer's Glove was proud to sponsor the event.
Do “thin, warm gloves” have any purchase with customers on the hottest day of the year? Surprisingly, yes. Scleroderma and Raynaud’s (which often overlaps with scleroderma) can flare up in air conditioning. On top of that, the sensitivity makes grocery shopping in the freezer aisle hard. The Writer's Glove is for cold, indoor environments, so it all fits. I guarantee no one needed them outside in this heat, though!
I enjoyed talking with people face to face, and learning more about scleroderma. There's no substitute for in-person conversations.
Support the NSF's mission to cure scleroderma here. They're doing great work.
