After searching for and trying out numerous solutions to my cold hands, I discovered The Writer's Glove!
It sounded exactly what I needed and was looking for. The numerous positive reviews solidified my impressions. And so I ordered a pair to try out for the coming cold season. I dutifully measured my hand size and ordered what I felt was the appropriate size for me, a Medium.
I received them a few days later, but did not have much time to test them but tried them on. They were a bit tight but might work. I finally had the time but they were too tight, so I submitted a request for exchange to a Large size, and that I was aware of that I'd have to pay the return shipping, which I felt was fair.
Then I received a reply email from Ben, saying "happy to help with this. A new pair of Large gloves is on its way to you, no charge. There is no need to send the Medium gloves back. Feel free to give them to someone who could use them. I'd rather they benefit someone than make you stand in line at the Post Office!"
I was astounded and replied back to him saying "Thank you, Ben! Very generous and gracious of you. I truly appreciate it." What a great experience, what gracious and caring and personal service and support. Very rare.
Definitely not the norm.
