A customer e-mailed me this question the other day about shipping times for The Writer’s Glove. Apparently, fall came early in this person’s neck of the woods, and typing at the keyboard with cold hands was in need of some gloved assistance.
There are two parts to the answers, and they apply to anywhere you shop online.
First, the seller receives the order, then processes the shipping. The turnaround time on that processing is the quiet time suck a lot of places don’t tell you about. Why? Because the clock on the estimated shipping duration (the time it takes to go from the seller to the buyer) only starts ticking once the shipping is actually processed. The whole process is called “fulfillment,” but that’s beside the point.
That means a claim that your order ships out to you in three to five business days could actually take five to seven because the seller waited 48 hours to process the shipping.
That’s not good business, which is why I don’t do it. My average time to process shipping is about an hour. Once your order for the best writing gloves for typing with cold hands comes in, I’m set up to have everything ready to go out in a matter of minutes, not days.
Second is the actual shipping time. This varies depending on where you live in the world. In the United States, you can expect The Writer’s Glove in three to five business days. In other parts of the world, it can take up to 10 business days.
Regardless, you’ll never pay for shipping so long as you purchase The Writer’s Glove direct through me. Just click here to get started.
